IMAGO Couples Workshop
The Imago Couples Workshop is designed to help couples strengthen the foundation of their relationship by learning practical tools for clearer communication, deeper understanding, and greater emotional connection. Through structured dialogues and guided exercises, couples learn how to slow down conflict, listen in ways that help their partner feel truly heard, and express their own needs more effectively. Many couples leave the workshop with a renewed sense of hope and a clearer path toward creating the kind of relationship they both want—one that supports emotional safety, intimacy, and mutual respect.
The workshop is facilitated by Nikki Nolet, PhD, LMFT, CST, and Ben Cohen, PhD both trained in the Imago approach to relationship therapy. Nikki Nolet is the founder of Relationships Redefined, an AASECT Certifiied Sex Therapist and Advanced Imago Clinician and specializes in helping individuals and couples strengthen communication, deepen intimacy, and develop more authentic connection in their relationships. Her work focuses on helping partners understand the patterns that shape their relationship and learning how to communicate in ways that foster closeness rather than distance.
Ben Cohen is an Advanced Imago Clinician, was the dean of Imago Relationships, and brings more than 25 years of experience as an Imago therapist and has facilitated hundreds of the Getting the Love You Want workshops with couples around the world. His depth of experience in guiding couples through the Imago process creates a grounded and supportive environment where partners can safely explore their relationship dynamics and learn new ways of connecting. Ben also brings in the Engaged Buddhism practices of Thich Nhat Hanh ,focusing on applying mindfulness to daily life, social action, and peace-building. His practice centers on being present in the "here and now" through meditation and compassion to transform suffering and cultivating joy.
Together, Nikki and Ben create a warm, supportive, and collaborative atmosphere that helps couples feel comfortable engaging in the exercises and conversations that make meaningful change possible. Their combined perspectives allow couples to feel guided, understood, and encouraged as they practice new ways of communicating and relating to one another.
